Last time we talked about the difference between 'rise' and 'raise'.
Today we're going to look at another couple of words: lay and lie.

'Lay' is like 'raise' because you do it to something.
For example - Lay the board on the ground.

'Lie' is like 'rise' because you do it by yourself.
For example - You are dizzy. You should lie down.

A. This is another way of saying. "I was just thinking the same thing,
and I was just about to say the same thing."

For Example:
